Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Steven Knight (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adrian Bale (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bale closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Knight did well to prevent Bale getting side control.
Knight is looking to improve his position.
The fighters are battling for position here. Knight manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Bale not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

The crowd are getting pretty annoyed with Knight for his constant stalling in the clinch and are voicing their displeasure.
With the fighters up against the cage, Knight throws an elbow but misses.

Bale wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Bale tries to stall but Knight uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Bale pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Knight throws a sloppy head kick and Bale moves out of range easily.
Bale lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Knight circles away quickly and effectively.
Bale stalks Knight and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Knight's face. Knight staggers backwards, shaken.
Bale looks to land a combination but Knight avoids it well.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Knight stalls.
Knight throws a punch but it's blocked by Bale.

Knight is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Bale pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Knight throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.

Knight misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Oh Knight is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Bale throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Knight stumbling backwards into the cage! Knight bounces back off the cage towards Bale, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Bale lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Bale celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
