Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Iakup Dzej (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and hiro pongha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Tarja Halkonen and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dzej defends well against a solid takedown attempt from pongha.
Dzej throws a head kick that half lands.
Dzej wants to clinch up but pongha keeps it at a distance.
Dzej fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
pongha swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Dzej shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Dzej was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Dzej trying to control but pongha is having none of it.
Dzej wants to get back to his feet but pongha is holding on tight.
pongha wants to control but Dzej is having none of it.

pongha is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Dzej with shots to the head and body - pongha looks very uncomfortable down there.
Dzej looking to control and managing it successfully.
pongha tries to lock up and control but Dzej gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Dzej fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
pongha wants to control but Dzej is having none of it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Dzej goes for an armbar but he's not got it… pongha turns into him and now he's in Dzej's guard.
Dzej is breathing heavily.
Dzej trying to keep a closed guard but pongha is proving a slippery customer.
Dzej looking to hit a scissor sweep but pongha is one step ahead there.
Dzej is looking for a triangle here but pongha uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.

pongha trying to control the position but Dzej is working away.
Dzej tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but pongha presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!
pongha is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Dzej can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
pongha looking to secure an arm triangle but Dzej defends it well.

pongha controlling the pace for now.
pongha is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Dzej is surviving well by controlling pongha's body position as best he can.
Dzej is trying to escape the mount.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Iakup Dzej will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
pongha shoots and misses
and Dzej counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Dzej fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Dzej shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in pongha's guard.
pongha seems keen to control Dzej's posture.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Dzej's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Dzej trying to control but pongha is working from the bottom.
pongha is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
pongha has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Dzej defend it? pongha steps over the head and cranks it - Dzej is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for pongha!
