The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zamponi shoots in for a takedown but Williams shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Zamponi displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Williams throws out the jab.
Zamponi moves forwards but Williams connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Williams lands a big right hand that sends Zamponi crashing to the mat! Williams stays standing though and waves Zamponi back to his feet!

Zamponi is rocked!

It looks like Jorge Zamponi has been cut.
Williams circles away from the clinch attempt.
Oh Zamponi is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Zamponi bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Williams drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Zamponi right on the button. Zamponi goes down! Williams follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Williams gets the win via TKO!
