Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Luiz Satinho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dirk Overeem (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Satinho comes into the arena with Tupac - Ambitionz Az A Ridah blaring out of the sound system. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab from Overeem misses.
Overeem swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Dirk Overeem seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Satinho slaps away a takedown attempt from Overeem, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Overeem shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Satinho's guard.
Satinho is looking to stand up but Overeem isn't so interested in that idea.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Overeem has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Satinho is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Overeem.
