Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Seppo Soturi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Max Power (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Soturi comes into the arena with Insomnium - Down With the Sun blaring out of the sound system. Max Power has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Power tries to score with a low kick but Soturi moves his leg out of the way.
Power misses with a body shot.

Soturi fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Power sprawls well initially but Soturi persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Power is trying to stand up here but Soturi is controlling him well.
Soturi thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Power is trying to control but can't.
Soturi is keen to just control but Power is a slippery customer.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Power has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Soturi is working away from the top position though.

Soturi shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Power napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Soturi throws and elbow that misses. Power uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Soturi's guard. Nice move by Power!

Power wants to control from the top but Soturi keeps moving.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Soturi wants to get back to his feet but Power is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Power is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
