And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Edson Gomes and Luis Engracia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zen takes a swing at Bautista's ribcage but misses.
Zen throws a series of punches but Bautista avoids them all with ease.
A combination from Zen does no damage.
Some wild striking there from Zen.
Bautista has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Zen looks to score with a jab to the body but Bautista is just out of range.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Zen is looking for a sweep. Bautista is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Zen is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Bautista shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Zen pinned against the cage. Zen gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
