Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Vinicius Monkey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sebastian Monsson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Monsson has chosen Tenacious D - Master Exploder as his entrance music. Sebastian Monsson acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big left from Monkey misses.

Monkey gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Monsson to score an easy takedown into full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Monsson trying to control the position from guard on top but Monkey is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Monsson looking to pass the guard.
Monkey is looking to stand up but Monsson isn't so interested in that idea.
Monsson pushes down on Monkey's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Monsson is trying to work for a kimura but Monkey is defending well.
Monkey is trying to get back to full guard.
Monkey is trying to maintain the position but Monsson is very close to passing his half guard.

Monkey tries to kick Monsson off in order to stand up. Monsson Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.
Monsson wants to control but Monkey is keeping him busy.
Monkey knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Monsson on the ground.
Monsson advances nicely into full mount.
Monsson wants to take his opponent's back but Monkey doesn't allow it.
Monsson looking to control but Monkey is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Monkey prevents Monsson from taking his back.
Monsson prevents Monkey from getting the reversal.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Monsson is looking to work his way around to Monkey's back. He needs to be careful though, as he's in danger of losing this dominant position.

Monkey somehow manages to escape the mount and get back to his feet!
Monkey misses with a wild combination.
Monkey swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Monsson throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Monkey was covering up waiting for the punch and Monsson finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Monsson wants to control from the top but Monkey keeps moving.
Monsson passes Monkey's left leg - he's now in half guard.

Monsson trying to mount his opponent but Monkey defends it.
Monsson stops Monkey from getting back to his feet.
Monsson is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Monkey!
You get the feeling that Monkey really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Monsson wants to take Monkey's back here but Monkey is holding on to an arm, himself looking to escape.

Monsson is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Monkey to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Monkey shrugs it off.

Monkey wants to control but Monsson is having none of it.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Monsson wants to control the pace but Monkey is squirming around nicely.
Monsson lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.

Monsson wants to take his opponent's back but Monkey doesn't allow it.

Monsson is working for a guillotine from mount but Monkey frees his head quite easily.

Sebastian Monsson dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Monkey throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Monsson sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Monsson is looking to slow Monkey down with leg kicks.
Monkey lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Monsson circles away quickly and effectively.

Monkey drops Monsson with a beautiful combination! Monsson stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Monkey is looking for the KO!

Monsson is rocked!

It looks like Sebastian Monsson has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Monsson takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Monsson is still on wobbly legs! Can Monkey finish him?
Monkey lands an uppercut, right on the button! Monsson tumbles backwards into the cage, staring vacantly into space! He's got no idea where he is, who he is or what day it is... Poor guy.
