Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tyrel Sackett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stanley Goodspeed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sackett comes to the cage accompanied by Highway to Hell. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tyrel Sackett!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Stanley Goodspeed!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Tiny Johnson and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Goodspeed scores with a takedown into Sackett's guard.
Sackett looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Goodspeed looking to sit in guard and control but Sackett gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Goodspeed can do anything to dispel that myth.
Goodspeed trying to keep a closed guard but Sackett is proving a slippery customer.
Sackett pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Goodspeed is keeping the position for now.
Sackett advances to half guard.
Goodspeed is trying to stand.

Goodspeed blocking the ground and pound attempt from Sackett.
Goodspeed trying to hold on to Sackett's head to control him but Sackett postures up.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Sackett connects with a nice short shot to Goodspeed's temple.
Goodspeed taking some punishment here, with Sackett in his half guard.
Goodspeed gets full guard.
Sackett missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Sackett wants to pass the guard but Goodspeed is keeping the position.
Goodspeed avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Sackett wants to control from the top but Goodspeed keeps moving.
Goodspeed is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Goodspeed slows the pace down in half guard.
Sackett is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Sackett keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Goodspeed trying to control the action but Sackett is working from the bottom.
Sackett has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Sackett is holding on to half guard well.
Sackett is looking for a sweep. Goodspeed is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Goodspeed throws a strike but Sackett avoids it easily and moves to full guard.
Sackett pulls Goodspeed in close to prevent any damage.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Goodspeed with a flurry of punches that miss.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Sackett looking for a sweep. Not yet Sackett, not yet.
Goodspeed wants to stand and escape but instead Sackett has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Sackett stands up and waves to Goodspeed to follow him.
Some wild striking there from Goodspeed.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Goodspeed lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Sackett wants to clinch.
Sackett stuffs the takedown.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Stanley Goodspeed will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Sackett ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Sackett connects with the punch.


It looks like Stanley Goodspeed has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Sackett wants to clinch.
Goodspeed swats away the attempt to clinch by Sackett.
Sackett misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Sackett throws a leg kick but Goodspeed moved away.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Sackett.
No joy there for Goodspeed, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Goodspeed takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Sackett takes a swing at Goodspeed's ribcage but misses.
Goodspeed is breathing heavily.
Sackett scores with a hook.
Sackett cracks Goodspeed on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Goodspeed falls backwards against the cage. Sackett follows up with more strikes that drop Goodspeed to his knees. Sackett keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Goodspeed! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tyrel Sackett!
