Damien Silva has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A swing and a miss from Velka.

Velka lands a left and a right that send Silva crashing to the mat, dazed. Velka thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

It looks like Damien Silva has been cut.
Velka tries to close the distance and clinch up but Silva swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Silva keeps the fight on the outside.

Velka gets a clinch.
Silva tries to break the clinch but Velka is controlling the position.
Silva wants to break free but Velka has control.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Velka.
Velka lands a big knee! That's hurt Silva! Oh, he's all over the place! Velka lands another knee that sends Silva to the floor and the referee steps in to end the fight!
