The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Magalhaes has a takedown stuffed.
Magalhaes tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
McPuggins keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Magalhaes shoots in looking for a takedown. McPuggins tries to sprawl out of it but Magalhaes keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. McPuggins manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Magalhaes has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. McPuggins is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Magalhaes is trying to work for a single leg takedown but McPuggins pulls him back up using the underhooks.
McPuggins jerks Magalhaes's head down, straight into the path of a devastating knee! Magalhaes drops to the floor in a crumpled heap! McPuggins goes to throw a finishing haymaker but pulls out - good sportsmanship from McPuggins because Magalhaes was completely out of it. That was a nice finish - just the right level of brutality to send everyone home happy.
