Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Manuel Rios (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kujo Yoritsune (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Felipe Paraventi and Matheus Silva.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rios moves in looking to clinch but Yoritsune pushes him off.
Rios misses with a double jab.
The fight stays on the outside here - Rios looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Yoritsune lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Rios circles away quickly and effectively.
Rios is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Yoritsune.
Yoritsune lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

Rios shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Yoritsune's guard.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Yoritsune lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Rios!

Yoritsune can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Rios is looking to escape.

Yoritsune is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Rios is surviving well by controlling Yoritsune's body position as best he can.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Yoritsune is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Rios can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Yoritsune wants to finish this one by submission but Rios is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Yoritsune.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Despite being in the dominant position, Kujo Yoritsune just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

and Rios takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Yoritsune catches Rios with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Manuel Rios is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Rios pushes Yoritsune up against the cage in a clinch.

Rios breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Kujo Yoritsune seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Yoritsune misses with a two punch combination.
Yoritsune lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Yoritsune.

Rios tries to land a front kick but Yoritsune steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Rios shoots in for a takedown but Yoritsune shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Rios throws a shot from downtown. Yoritsune moves away and avoids it.

Rios moves forwards but Yoritsune connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Rios takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Yoritsune moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Oh Rios is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Yoritsune rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Rios moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Yoritsune will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Yoritsune connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Rios momentarily.

Yoritsune might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Yoritsune rushes Rios with punches - Rios moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Rios goes down! Yoritsune follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
