Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jon Lyle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Teddy Exley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these fighters are unbeaten, so somebody's 0 has got to go!Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jon Lyle!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Teddy Exley!
The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Dean Styles and Alyssa Summers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lyle shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lyle wants to sweep here but Exley controlling him for the moment.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Exley fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Lyle is out of range.
Exley tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Lyle paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Exley sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Lyle avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Exley fails with an attempt to clinch.

Exley shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Lyle manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Lyle pushes a forearm under Exley's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Exley is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:05 of round 4, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Jon Lyle!
