Carlson shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Carlson showed some decent athleticism there.
Kurosawa is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Kurosawa is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Carlson's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Carlson's back!
Kurosawa has both hooks in and is working for a choke. Carlson is in real trouble here. Kurosawa gets an arm under the chin and tightens the submission attempt... is this the end? Yes, Carlson is tapping out! Kurosawa wins by rear naked choke!
