The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Payne slips a straight right by Mangler.
Payne throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Payne takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Payne missing with a left hand there. Mangler was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Mangler misses with a wild body shot.
Mangler closes the distance and lands a one-two.

It looks like Noah Payne has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Mangler throws a series of punches but Payne avoids them all with ease.

No joy there for Mangler, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Mangler is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Payne off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted.

Payne is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Mangler has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Payne has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Mangler taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Payne doesn't care though - he's delighted!
