PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Riddick Tyson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Don Handle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Tyson might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to go hard or go home. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Leandro Rodrigues and Paulo Santos.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Danga de danga de dang - Tyson scores with a four punch combination!
Handle tries to clinch up but Tyson circles away and keeps his distance.
A left and a right from Tyson both land. Nice combination.
The fight stays on the outside here - Handle looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
A head kick misses from Tyson.
Tyson defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Handle.
Handle shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Tyson as he jumps to the side.
Handle blocks a head kick by Tyson.
Handle fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Riddick Tyson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Don Handle.
Tyson lands a head kick. Handle smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Handle is trying hard to land a takedown here. Tyson sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Handle tries to close the distance and clinch but Tyson swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
A combination from Tyson does no damage.
Handle throws a right and a left that Tyson avoids nicely.
Handle throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Tyson's waist but Tyson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Handle off to one side.
Handle is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Tyson misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

and Handle counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Handle tries to pull guard but Tyson holds him up against the cage and eventually Handle drops back down to his feet.

A frustrated look appears on Tyson's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Tyson wants to break free but Handle has control.

Handle jumps guard.

Handle seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Handle pushes Tyson off and scrambles back to his feet.
Tyson throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Handle counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Tyson is breathing heavily.

Handle drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Handle seems to have locked his on tight now - Tyson screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Handle, as he picks up the win!
