Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Racka Lamb (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alejandro Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silva has chosen Damian Marley - Welcome To Jamrock as his entrance music. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Alejandro Silva!
The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Felipe Paraventi and Leandro Rodrigues.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva throws a front kick that sends Lamb stumbling back into the cage.
Silva throws a lazy right hand but Lamb sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Lamb drops Silva with a nice combination! Lamb dives into Silva's guard, looking to finish!

Silva is rocked!

It looks like Alejandro Silva has been cut.
Lamb lands a couple of elbows.
Silva is still in real trouble! Can Lamb finish him?
Lamb stands up over Silva, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Lamb stays in close to Silva's body and controls the position.
Lamb stands and throws Silva's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Silva takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.

Lamb working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Silva tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Lamb wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Lamb controls the position.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Lamb scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Silva to see if he's OK.

Lamb is putting a hurting on Silva here, landing some big shots from side control.
Silva is working to avoid the ground and pound but Lamb connects with a decent elbow.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Lamb has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Silva!

The referee warns Silva that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Lamb pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Lamb takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Lamb cracks Silva with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Lamb with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Lamb lands with some strikes.

Lamb has hold of an arm here, looking to extend it. He's committed to the armbar attempt here! Will he get it?! Yes! Silva is forced to tap!
