Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Homer Burns (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kelii Hale (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Burns kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Remember the Name. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Burns pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Hale closes the distance and pushes Burns back into the cage.

Burns escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Hale moves in looking to clinch but Burns pushes him off.
Burns misses with a looping right.
Burns works the jab nicely.
Hale tries to close the distance and clinch but Burns swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Kelii Hale seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A combination from Hale does no damage.
Hale displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Burns throws out the jab.
Hale fails with an attempt to clinch.
Burns swings for the body but Hale moves out of range.

Burns fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Hale tries to close the distance and clinch up but Burns swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Burns jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Hale misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Burns lands with a right hand.
Burns comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Burns throws an overhand right that lands on Hale's shoulder, as Hale tries to avoid the shot.
Burns moves into range and connects with a jab.

Burns scores with a hook to the body. Hale takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Hale is still on wobbly legs! Can Burns finish him?
Hale looks gassed!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Burns is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Hale flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Hale is out cold! Burns holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
