Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Matheus Mafetoni (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Ditka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Matheus Mafetoni has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Matheus Mafetoni seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Leandro Rodrigues and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mafetoni tries for a takedown but Ditka sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Ditka throws a one two combo.
It looks like Matheus Mafetoni has been cut.
Ditka fails in his attempt to clinch.
Mafetoni slips a straight right by Ditka.
Ditka lands a left and a right that send Mafetoni crashing to the mat, dazed. Ditka thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Ditka wants to clinch.
Ditka throws a series of punches but Mafetoni avoids them all with ease.
Mafetoni tries to score a power double leg takedown but Ditka sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Mafetoni somewhat.
Mafetoni bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Ditka swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Ditka swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Mafetoni has a takedown stuffed.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Matheus Mafetoni. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Ditka throws a jab when Mafetoni was well out of range.
Mafetoni tries to close the distance and clinch but Ditka swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

and Ditka counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Ditka clobbers Mafetoni with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Matheus Mafetoni's cut is getting worse.
Ditka stuffs the takedown.
Ditka looks to land a right hand but Mafetoni moved out of range.
Mafetoni moves into the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Nice body punch from Ditka - that landed with a thud.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Ditka gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Mafetoni.
Mafetoni is working for takedown but Ditka is calmly controlling the position for now.
Mafetoni tries to pull guard but Ditka holds him up against the cage and eventually Mafetoni drops back down to his feet.
Ditka lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
Mafetoni has Ditka pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Ditka manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Mafetoni is breathing heavily.

Ditka escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Ditka lands a big right hand that sends Mafetoni crashing to the mat! Ditka stays standing though and waves Mafetoni back to his feet!
Mafetoni is rocked!
Ditka throws a looping overhand right but Mafetoni ducks down to avoid it.
Oh Mafetoni is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Mafetoni keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Ditka.
Mafetoni seems to have got his legs back now.
Ditka tries to clinch but Mafetoni moves out of range.
Mafetoni closes the distance but Ditka moves to the side
and Ditka counters with a right hand from hell and Mafetoni is out cold! A vicious knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Mike Ditka!
