Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Eric Parker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alberto YellOw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alberto YellOw has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Eric Parker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Alberto YellOw!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Yves DeLean and Gregory Folan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Parker shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
YellOw won't allow Parker to pass to mount.
Parker content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if YellOw can do anything to dispel that myth.
YellOw preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head.

YellOw actively working from the bottom here.
YellOw is trying to stand back up but Parker is controlling him

Parker is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.

Parker gets to his feet - back to striking we go!
Alberto YellOw is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
YellOw dodges the punch combination from Parker.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
YellOw effectively controlling the action here.
Parker lands an elbow that stopped YellOw in his tracks for a moment.
Parker using the Thai plumb to throw knees but YellOw has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

YellOw manages to break the clinch.
YellOw pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Parker tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
YellOw misses with a low kick.
Parker tries to close the distance and clinch but YellOw swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Parker closes this distance looking for a takedown but YellOw circles away.
Parker keeps the fight on the outside.
YellOw throws a jab when Parker was well out of range.
YellOw avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Parker is looking to clinch.
YellOw tries to clinch there but Parker circles away.

YellOw connects with a vicious head kick that knocks Parker to the floor! YellOw dives in looking for the finish!


Parker is rocked!


It looks like Eric Parker has been cut.
YellOw wants to control but Parker is keeping him busy.

YellOw stops Parker from getting back to his feet.
YellOw slows the pace down in half guard.
Parker keeps control of the position for the meantime.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Parker's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


A punch lands to the side of Parker 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Parker avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Parker tries to clinch

and YellOw lands a stunning uppercut that sends Parker to the mat!
Oh Parker is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Parker pushes YellOw off looking to stand but YellOw dives back in and keeps control.
Parker seems to have got his legs back now.
YellOw wants to stand up but Parker has a hold of him and won't allow it.
Parker tries to regain full guard. Instead though, YellOw has advanced to mount. Uh oh.

YellOw controlling from mount.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

YellOw get's back to his feet.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Parker looks to clinch
and Parker takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
YellOw missing with a left hand there. Parker was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
YellOw thows a left - swing and a miss!
Parker moves out of range of the strikes.
YellOw throws a shot from downtown. Parker moves away and avoids it.
Parker closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.


Parker is rocked!
Parker tries to clinch there but YellOw circles away.

YellOw moves into range and throws a big uppercut. OH! Parker goes down! Can YellOw finish him!?
Oh Parker is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
YellOw looking to pass the guard.

YellOw gets to his feet - Parker follows without any prompting.
Parker seems to have got his legs back now.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

YellOw cracks Parker with an uppercut from hell and Parker crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of YellOw's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
YellOw sitting in guard, not really doing much.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Alberto YellOw showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!



YellOw closes the distance and clinches.
A short right hand to the side of the head by YellOw.
A battle for position here, against the cage.
Parker can't break the clinch.
Parker has YellOw pressed against the cage, preventing YellOw from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Parker managing to block the knees to the body from YellOw.
Parker tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

YellOw breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Eric Parker is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Parker tries to clinch up but YellOw circles away and keeps his distance.
YellOw throws a jab when Parker was well out of range.
Parker uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by YellOw.

Nice combo by YellOw! Oh, that's hurt him - Parker falls to the canvas and YellOw follows him into side control.

Parker manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Parker trying to get back to full guard but YellOw takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount!
Parker keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Parker slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
YellOw works his way into full mount!
Parker tries to reverse the position but YellOw maintains control.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Alberto YellOw is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Parker wants to try and get back to his feet.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Parker is controlling an arm, preventing YellOw from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.
Eric Parker has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

YellOw stands up from mount. Strange move.

And that's the end of the fight!
Alberto YellOw comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well YellOw has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
