The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hughes lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Sean Hughes seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Kolobkow clinches up against the cage.
Hughes is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Kolobkow tries to pull guard but Hughes won't allow it.

Hughes tries to circle away but Kolobkow has him pinned against the cage.

Kolobkow throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Hughess head.
Hughes is trying to break the clinch but Kolobkow is controlling him.
Kolobkow keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Hughes's efforts to push away.

Kolobkow tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Hughes just stands there and leans against the cage.
Sean Hughes has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ivan Kolobkow.
Hughes stops a takedown attempt from Kolobkow.
Hughes tries to break free but Kolobkow pushes him back against the cage.

Hughes breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Kolobkow throws a sloppy head kick and Hughes moves out of range easily.

Hughes lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.

Kolobkow takes a kick to the side of the head.
Hughes throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Kolobkow.
Hughes lands with a kick to the temple. Kolobkow shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Hughes goes for a high kick. It partially lands.

Kolobkow is rocked!
A head kick by Hughes - that's a beauty! Kolobkow is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Hughes can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!
