Boom fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Kelly with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.

Kelly throws a right and a left that both miss.
Kelly misses with a series of wild punches.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kelly tries to close the distance and clinch but Boom swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Boom tries to lock up and control but Kelly gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Boom sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Kelly is keen to just control but Boom is a slippery customer.
Boom might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Kelly moves in looking to clinch but Boom pushes him off.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Kelly throws a right and a left that Boom avoids nicely.
Kelly throws a low kick, looking for Boom's leg but Boom calmly moves out of range.

A close round but Ryfus Kelly will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Boom shoots for a double leg takedown but Kelly sprawls well. He's pushed Boom's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Boom throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Kelly's waist but Kelly gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Boom off to one side.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Kelly tries to bum rush Boom with a series of wild strikes but Boom uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Kelly stalks Boom and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Boom's face. Boom staggers backwards, shaken.

Ryfus Kelly seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Boom lands a nice short elbow.

Kelly has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Boom is working away from the top position though.

That was a close second round but I would say that Bas Boom will probably get the nod.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Kelly wants to slow Boom down by chopping away at his legs.
