Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Emil Rombach (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Karry Divine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Emil Rombach!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Karry Divine!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Paul Aken and Saam Ante.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rombach dives in and grabs Divine's left leg, looking for a takedown. Divine pushes down on Rombach's head and hops out.
Rombach tries a head kick but it misses.

Divine forces Rombach back against the cage and clinches.

Divine jumps into guard, dragging Rombach to the mat.
Divine striking off his back but it's not causing Rombach any problems.
Divine looking for a sweep. Not yet Divine, not yet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Rombach has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Divine is proving hard to escape from.
Rombach throws and elbow that misses. Divine uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Rombach's guard. Nice move by Divine!
Divine working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Divine is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Rombach is trying to hold Divine in close to prevent damage but Divine has managed to pass into half guard.

Divine is figuring out what he wants to do next.

Divine seems to be trying to get a kimura but instead Rombach has recovered full guard.
Divine prevents Rombach from getting back to his feet.
Rombach is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Divine has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Rombach bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Divine's guard.
Divine working a defensive guard but Rombach passes into half guard.
Divine is staying active underneath Rombach, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Rombach is really struggling to control Divine but he's trying to hold on to the position.
Rombach knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Divine on the ground.

Rombach is working for a kimura but Divine is defending it quite comfortably.
Divine tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.

Divine works his way to full guard. Good work.
Rombach throws a strike but Divine rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Divine trying to control the position from guard on top but Rombach is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Divineis looking to pass into half guard but Rombach pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Rombach is in guard.
Rombach looking to sit in guard and control but Divine gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Divine won't allow Rombach to get back to his feet.
Rombach looking for a sweep. Not yet Rombach, not yet.
Rombach is looking to stand back up but Divine counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Rombach.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Rombach is trying to maintain the position but Divine is very close to passing his half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Karry Divine dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Rombach pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Rombach throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Divine's waist but Divine gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Rombach off to one side.

Horrible takedown by Rombach or perhaps it was just good defense by Divine which made him look bad.

Divine is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Divine controls Rombach momentarily but Rombach frees himself.
Rombach is looking to work some ground and pound but Divine has wrist control.

Divine keeping moving, preventing Rombach from controlling successfully.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Rombach jabs at Divine's body.
Rombach goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Rombach tries to clinch there but Divine circles away.
Rombach shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Divine as he jumps to the side.
Rombach fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

and Divine counters by moving into the clinch.
Rombach tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Rombach tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Divine just stands there and leans against the cage.

Divine ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Divine no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Emil Rombach overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Rombach wants to control from the top but Divine keeps moving.

Divine shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Rombach but Rombach pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Karry Divine comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Divine has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
