Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Staszek Kalin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
6 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Seamus Brady!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, James Atkins and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brady will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Brady looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Kalin!
You get the feeling that Kalin really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Kalin keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Kalin manages to regain half guard. Good work.
Kalin gets back to full guard.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Brady not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Kalin has his foot on Brady's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Brady works his way back into a safe position though.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Kalin wants to improve his position but instead Brady has moved into half guard.
Kalin is looking to improve his position.
Kalin wants to get back to his feet.
Brady wants to lay and pray for a moment but Kalin keeps working.
Kalin is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Kalin pushes Brady off and gets back to his feet.
Brady fails in his attempt to clinch.
Brady looks to land a combination but Kalin avoids it well.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Kalin bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
A lazy left from Kalin finds it's target.
Brady takes a head kick and keeps coming.
It looks like Seamus Brady has been cut.
Kalin lands with a kick to the ribs.
Brady looks gassed!
Kalin will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Good exchange - Kalin coming out on top.
The fighters circle momentarily. Kalin darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Brady doesn't manage to clinch there - Kalin circles away.
Brady shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Kalin but Kalin pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Kalin drops Brady with a beautiful combination! Brady stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Kalin is looking for the KO!
Brady is rocked!
Staszek Kalin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Brady switches off momentarily and Kalin cracks him with a monster right hand! Brady topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Kalin dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Kalin!
