Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Noah Qualls (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dirk Diggler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Noah Qualls has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Noah Qualls!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dirk Diggler!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Frank Dennis and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diggler takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
The fight stays on the outside here - Diggler looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Diggler wants to clinch up but Qualls keeps it at a distance.
No joy there for Qualls, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Diggler fails with an attempt to clinch.
Qualls avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Qualls misses with a low kick as Diggler jumps back.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Diggler tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Diggler throws a head punch that misses.
A short body shot lands from Diggler as the two fighters clinch.

Qualls has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Diggler regains guard immediately.
Qualls trying to control the position from guard on top but Diggler is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Qualls passes into half guard.
Qualls seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Diggler tries to get to full guard but Qualls has control of the leg.

Qualls looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Qualls seems to be working for a kimura but Diggler defends the submission attempt.
Qualls throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Diggler really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Qualls. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Diggler is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Diggler tries to clinch but Qualls moves out of range.

Qualls feints and as Diggler raises his hands in defense, Qualls changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Diggler seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

Diggler looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Diggler trying to keep a closed guard but Qualls is proving a slippery customer.
Qualls wants to control from the top but Diggler keeps moving.

Qualls drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Diggler dives on top into guard.

Qualls has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Diggler off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Diggler is breathing heavily.

Diggler slips a straight right by Qualls.
Qualls circles away from the clinch attempt.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Qualls.

Qualls wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Diggler, who protects the arm well.

Qualls is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Diggler has escaped the position, nice work there.
Diggler can't do much from the bottom here.

Qualls is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Diggler knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Qualls has hold of Diggler's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Diggler seems comfortable defending it but Qualls has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Diggler is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Diggler is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Qualls couldn't care less - he's delighted!
