The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pelzerson tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Dos Santos swivels and escapes.
Pelzerson uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Dos Santos.
Pelzerson shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

Pelzerson prevents Dos Santos from standing back up.
Pelzerson has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Pelzerson is thwarting Dos Santos's attempts to control the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Dos Santos is looking for a sweep. Pelzerson is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Dos Santos tries to kick Pelzerson off in order to stand up. Pelzerson Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.
Pelzerson wants to lay and pray for a moment but Dos Santos keeps working.
Pelzerson lands a few punches from side control.
Pelzerson looks up at the clock and then as Dos Santos takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Pelzerson smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Pelzerson wants to control but Dos Santos is keeping him busy.
Dos Santos is working to avoid the ground and pound but Pelzerson connects with a decent elbow.
Dos Santos is looking to reverse the position.
You can see the frustration on Dos Santos's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Pelzerson lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Dos Santos down.
Pelzerson in side control lands a decent elbow.
Dos Santos is rocked!
Pelzerson scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Dos Santos is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Pelzerson can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
