The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee looks to land a combination but Hernandez avoids it well.
Lee dodges the punch combination from Hernandez.

and Lee counters with a good low kick that Hernandez was not able to check.
Lee tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Hernandez swivels and escapes.
Hernandez lands with a nice combination. Lee backs away looking to recover.

Lee tries to close the distance and clinch but Hernandez swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

No joy there for Hernandez, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Frankie Lee's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Hernandez misses with a double jab.

Hernandez displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Lee.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Hernandez lands a left and a right that send Lee crashing to the mat, dazed. Hernandez thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Jeez, Frankie Lee's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
Lee dodges the punch combination from Hernandez.

Hernandez drops Lee with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Lee looks back up at him and smiles so Hernandez waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Oh Lee is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Frankie Lee's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
