The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Danielson throws a series of punches but Dryl avoids them all with ease.
Dryl throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Some wild striking there from Danielson.
Danielson throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Dryl sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Dryl pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Danielson rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Dryl moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Dryl bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Danielson connects with a right hand. Dryl shakes it off.

It looks like Ben Dryl has been cut.
Dryl is looking to clinch but Danielson is avoiding it.

Dryl slips a jab and a cross from Danielson.
Danielson throws a jab when Dryl was well out of range.

Danielson looks to land a combination but Dryl avoids it well.
Dryl walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Danielson misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Dryl wants to clinch up but Danielson keeps it at a distance.
Ted Danielson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Danielson throws an overhand right that lands on Dryl's shoulder, as Dryl tries to avoid the shot.
Danielson paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

That has opened up Ben Dryl's cut even more.
Danielson avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Danielson connects with a good right hand that stumbles Dryl. Dryl circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Dryl takes a swing at Danielson's ribcage but misses.
Dryl tries to clinch but Danielson is having none of it.

Dryl has taken the fight to the clinch.

Danielson breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Danielson moves into range and clinches up with Dryl.
Danielson has had enough of the clinch but Dryl keeps him there for the moment.
Dryl tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Danielson blocks an elbow strike.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Danielson takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Danielson throws a body punch but Dryl moves out of range.

Danielson cracks Dryl with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Danielson has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Dryl to stand back up!

The cut above Ben Dryl's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Danielson throws a right and a left that both miss.
Danielson misses with a few strikes there.
Danielson throws a series of punches but Dryl avoids them all with ease.

Dryl doesn't manage to clinch there - Danielson circles away.

Ben Dryl's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Danielson thows a left - swing and a miss!
Danielson steps into range and unloads a brutal right left combo! Dryl is out on his feet! Danielson sets himself and nearly takes Dryl's head off with a straight right, sending him crashing to the mat! Wow, that was nasty... but awesome! Wooo!
