Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alister The Demon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Seymour Subs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The Demon kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Puritania. Seymour Subs is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The Demon lands with a nice combination. Subs backs away looking to recover.

It looks like Seymour Subs has been cut.
Subs takes one to the chin there.

Subs closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Subs lands in his opponent's guard.

The Demon has his hands on Subs's head, controlling the position.

The Demon tries to bum rush Subs with a series of wild strikes but Subs uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Subs bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

The Demon closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

The Demon sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Subs's guard.
The Demon takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

The Demon has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Subs wants to improve his position but The Demon is controlling well.
The Demon is looking to take a break and control but Subs is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

The Demon connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Subs's hands.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Subs throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! The Demon escapes and throws Subs's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Subs tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but The Demon wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

The Demon lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.

Seymour Subs's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Seymour Subs's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
