Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dekker throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Rua shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Rua drops back looking for a leg! Dekker is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Dekker manages to kick Rua off! Rua jumps back into Dekker's guard.

Rua drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Rua jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Dekker is looking to escape.
Rua is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Dekker!

Rua is working for a guillotine from mount but Dekker frees his head quite easily.
Dekker is controlling an arm, preventing Rua from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.
Dekker is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Rua is working for a rear naked choke. Dekker is not defending it well and Rua has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Dekker refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Dekker's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
