Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dominic Hyde (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bucco Bruce (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bruce steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Hyde.
Hyde could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Bruce wants to clinch.
Bruce uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Hyde.
Bruce doesn't manage to clinch there - Hyde circles away.

Hyde has closed the distance and engaged Bruce in a clinch.
Hyde is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Bruce pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Hyde ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Hyde no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Hyde has momentary wrist control but Bruce slips an elbow through the middle.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Hyde holds on and takes a little breather.

Bruce stands up and waves to Hyde to follow him.

Bruce shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Hyde pinned against the cage. Hyde gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Hyde tries to keep at a distance but Bruce has taken the fight into the clinch.

Hyde is trying to trip Bruce. He has hold of a leg but Bruce is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Hyde persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Bruce drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Bruce jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Bruce feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
