The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A swing and a miss from Fighter.
Daddio shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Fighter sprawls well. Fighter wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Daddio gets slowly back to his feet.
Fighter connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Daddio misses with the combination.
Fighter throws a head kick but Daddio moves out of range.
Daddio blocks a head kick by Fighter.
Fighter throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Fighter lands with a slapping head kick.
Fighter thows a body shot but no joy.
Fighter lands with a kick to the temple. Daddio shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Daddio shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Fighter as he avoids it easily.
Daddio tries to clinch up but Fighter circles away and keeps his distance.
Fighter misses with a low kick.
Daddio blocks a head kick by Fighter.
Fighter misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Daddio.
A head kick misses from Fighter.
Fighter buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Fighter goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Fighter slips under a jab from Daddio.
Fighter misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Fighter plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
A clash of legs there as Daddio blocks the low kick.
Fighter throws a sloppy head kick and Daddio moves out of range easily.
Daddio shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Fighter but Fighter pushes him off and we're back to square one.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Don Daddio. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Daddio throws a series of punches but Fighter avoids them all with ease.

Daddio bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Fighter is looking for a sweep.

Daddio has hold of Fighter's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Fighter seems comfortable defending it but Daddio has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Fighter is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Fighter is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Daddio couldn't care less - he's delighted!
