Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Romero Calvacanti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mang Tomas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tomas swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Calvacanti dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Tomas. That did some damage!
Tomas throws a shot from downtown. Calvacanti moves away and avoids it.

Tomas drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Calvacanti manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Tomas has Calvacanti in his guard.

Calvacanti is pressed up against the ropes. Tomas has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Calvacanti down to the mat. Calvacanti avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

BOOM! Calvacanti connects with a massive shot to the dome!

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

Tomas cracks Calvacanti with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the ropes! Calvacanti falls to his knees and Tomas doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
