The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Geofini scores with a takedown into boyd's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Geofini takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. boyd turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Geofini off and cradles boyd's limp body as Geofini celebrates with his corner.
