The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Man takes a swing at Abu's ribcage but misses.
Man throws a head kick that misses.
Wiley Abu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Abu thows a left - swing and a miss!
Abu stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Man.

Abu changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Man looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Man is not content to let Abu control the position.

Man is trying to buck Abu off.

Abu has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Man is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Abu yanks on the arm and Man is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Abu.
