Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jay Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and mike whitby (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Jackson might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Aerials. whitby has chosen turn my swag on as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, mike whitby!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Columbo Gatti and John Roberts.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson throws a body punch but whitby moves out of range.
Jackson tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Jackson lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Jackson.

whitby shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than whitby was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
whitby trying to control but Jackson is having none of it.
Jackson regains half guard.
Jackson tries to get to full guard but whitby has control of the leg.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

whitby really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jackson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Jackson throws a head kick but whitby moves out of range.

That was slick! whitby rolls with it to try and escape but Jackson cranks on the arm and whitby is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
