The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Submit misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from The Nanny.
Submit uses good head movement to avoid the hook from The Nanny.
Submit rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but The Nanny moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
The Nanny is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Submit.

Submit bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The Nanny dodges the ground and pound from Submit.

Submit cracks The Nanny with a big elbow.
The Nanny is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Submit's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.

Submit seems to be working for a kimura but The Nanny defends the submission attempt.

The Nanny wants to control but Submit passes into side.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
The Nanny tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Submit wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Submit working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
The Nanny is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Submit asserts his dominance and retains side control.
The Nanny is looking to regain half guard here but Submit keeps moving and retains side control.
