Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Paul Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mork Hemsko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Paul Johnson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mork Hemsko!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Aafke Stam and Saam Ante.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson thows a left - swing and a miss!

Hemsko darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Johnson tries to roll over but Hemsko keeps him under control.
Hemsko is thwarting Johnson's attempts to control the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hemsko is taking a breather. Johnson says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Johnson is trying to stand.
Hemsko controlling the pace.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Johnson tries to roll over but Hemsko keeps him under control.
Hemsko content to control rather than advance.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Hemsko tries to pass the half guard into mount. Johnson knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Johnson looks like he's trying to stand up.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Hemsko is taking a breather. Johnson says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Despite being in the dominant position, Mork Hemsko just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Hemsko shoots in for a takedown but Johnson shows good takedown defense.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Johnson lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Mork Hemsko will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Johnson throws out a loose jab but Hemsko uses good head movement to avoid it.

Hemsko looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Johnson can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Hemsko controls the pace.
Johnson keeping full guard, as Hemsko tries to pass.
Hemsko is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Hemsko is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Hemsko stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Johnson swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Hemsko must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Hemsko stands and throws Johnson's legs to the side, diving into side control.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Hemsko slows the pace down.
Johnson might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Johnson manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Hemsko stalling.
Hemsko wants to free his trapped foot but Johnson is holding on for dear life with his legs.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Johnson pushes Hemsko off looking to stand but Hemsko dives back in and keeps control.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Hemsko stalling.
Hemsko tries to pass to full mount but Johnson defends it.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Hemsko looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Hemsko works his way into side control.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mork Hemsko showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

and Hemsko counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Johnson looks like he's trying to stand up.
Johnson gets back to full guard.
Johnson is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Hemsko is controlling him.
Hemsko's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

That's one minute gone in the round.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Despite being in the dominant position, Mork Hemsko just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Hemsko looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Johnson!
Hemsko sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Johnson is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Hemsko looking to control and managing it successfully.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Let's hope that Hemsko has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Mork Hemsko comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Hemsko winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
