Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Farzad M (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and LeMac Red (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Red has chosen shimmy she wobble as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, LeMac Red!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, James Glass and Sam Margolis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Excellent takedown into side control there by Red.
M is not content to let Red control the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The strikes coming from Red are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
Red working away.
Red trying to control the position but M is working away.
Red might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control M kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
M is trying to control Red's posture but Red avoids it.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Red tries to clinch up but M circles away and keeps his distance.
M digs a good hook to Red's body.
Red misses with a two punch combination.

Red gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows M to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Red manages to escape and get back to his feet.
M scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
M misses with a double jab
and Red counters with an inside leg kick.
The fight stays on the outside here - Red looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
M misses with a takedown
and Red counters with a series of strikes. M will be more careful next time no doubt.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
M tries to clinch up

and Red moves into the clinch.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Red's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Red instigates a clinch.

Red breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
M uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Red.
M has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
M is breathing heavily.
Red tries to clinch there but M circles away.
A good leg kick by Red.
A shot to de liver by M. Beautiful body shot.

Red has M up against the cage in a clinch.
M tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Come on Red - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.

Red escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Red scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
M tries for a takedown but Red circles away easily
and Red counters with a series of strikes. M will be more careful next time no doubt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Farzad M. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Red closes the distance and clinches.
Red effectively controlling the action here.
Red lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Red lands an uppercut.
Red is struggling to control the position.
Red continues to stall. The referee tells him to work or he's going to break them up.
Red is leaning against M and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
Red displaying some good clinch control by pressing M up against the cage.
M tries to pull guard but Red holds him up against the cage and eventually M drops back down to his feet.

The referee is keeping an eye on Red - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Red moves into range and clinches up with M.
A body shot lands from Red.

Red breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Red tries to clinch but M moves out of range.
Red scores with a jab. M acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

and Red counters with a thumping low kick.
Red falls off balance throwing a combination
and Red takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Red closes the distance and pushes M back into the cage.

Red breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

LeMac Red dominated that round.

Nice uppercut there from Red.
Red bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Red cracks the inside of M's front leg.
Red plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!

Red closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. M did well to prevent Red getting side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Red passes to side control.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Red advances to full mount.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Red tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
BOOM! Red connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Red putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound!
Red controlling the pace for now.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Red trying to control but he's not successful this time.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Red wants to control the pace but M is squirming around nicely.

Despite being in the dominant position, LeMac Red just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
M on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Red lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Red tries to bum rush M with a series of wild strikes but M uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
A looping hook to the body misses from Red. M does a little dance to reset his feet.
Red lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

Red shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Red showed some decent athleticism there.
Red controlling the action here.

M is refusing to be controlled, as Red sits in half guard.
Red stalling.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Red looking to control and managing it successfully.
Red's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Red looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Red misses with a series of wild punches.
Red connects with a solid leg kick.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

LeMac Red showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Farzad M is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
A short left from M.
Red tries to stall but M uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
M fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Red looking to slow down the pace here.
Red throws a head punch that misses.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Red.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Red takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Red misses with an elbow over the top.
Red has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Red lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.

Red breaks the clinch.
Red throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Red throws a quick inside leg kick.
Red lands a head kick. M smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
M takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Red tries to clinch up but M circles away and keeps his distance.

Red moves into the clinch.
M takes a shot to the head.
Red throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but M blocks it with crossed arms.
M letting Red take a breather here.

Red breaks from the clinch.
Red tries to clinch but M is having none of it.

Red pushes M up against the cage in a clinch.
M goes for a takedown in the clinch but Red prevents it.
Red stalling against the cage.

Red breaks the clinch.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Red feints and then cracks M's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow M down.

Red has closed the distance and engaged M in a clinch.
M takes an elbow to the temple.
Red lands a hook that snaps the head of M backwards.
A shot in the inside from Red.
Red scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Red working some nice short punches in the clinch.

Red manages to break the clinch.
Red swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Red thows a body kick. M tries to catch it but that hurt him.
LeMac Red seems to be getting the better of the standup.
M shoots and misses
and Red counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Red clinches up with M and pushes him back against the cage.

Red pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Red throws a head kick that misses.
Red throws a right and a left that both miss.

Red throws a series of punches but M avoids them all with ease.
A nice combination there by Red.

Red drives through and clinches with M against the cage.
Red throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.

Red escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
M slips a jab and a cross from Red.

Red forces M back against the cage and clinches.
A bit of stalling here from Red.
Red lands a nice elbow.
Red scores with a shoulder strike.
M blocks an uppercut.
M letting Red take a breather here.
Red is trying to maintain a safe position but M gets an underhook and turns Red into the cage.

Red pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
LeMac Red is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Red lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but M circles away quickly and effectively.

M takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
A chopping leg kick lands by Red.
M gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

Red rushes M and presses him up against the cage.
M is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
Red scores with an uppercut up the middle.

Red pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
The fighters circle momentarily. Red darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Red tries to bum rush M with a series of wild strikes but M uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Left hook, right uppercut from Red.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Red lands a two punch combo.
Red throws a right and a left that M avoids nicely.
Farzad M has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Red has closed the distance and engaged M in a clinch.

LeMac Red comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Red has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
