Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between brian polski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lucas Luiz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, brian polski!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Lucas Luiz!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Yves DeLean and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
polski stuffs the takedown.
polski fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Luiz avoids it really well and circles away.
polski shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Luiz counters by moving into the clinch.
polski throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Luiz blocks it with crossed arms.
polski is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Luiz pulls him back up using the underhooks.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for brian polski. That's going to take a lot out of him.
polski is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
polski jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Luiz walks away with a smile on his face. polski gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Luiz fails with the takedown
and polski counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Luiz has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. polski is working away from the top position though.
polski is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Luiz is just riding it out for now. polski eventually gives up the hold.
polski working over Luiz with some ground and pound. Luiz looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.

polski is working for a kimura but Luiz is defending it quite comfortably.
Luiz blocking the ground and pound attempt from polski.
Luiz is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Luiz tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
polski has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
polski perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
polski stops Luiz from getting back to his feet.
polski is controlling the pace.
polski is looking to take a break and control but Luiz is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
polski is thwarting Luiz's attempts to control the position.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
polski moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Luiz gets a clinch.
polski fails to pull the fight into his guard.
polski jumps guard and drags Luiz to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
polski keeping full guard, as Luiz tries to pass.
polski wants to stand but Luiz is controlling the position.

polski is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
polski keeping moving, preventing Luiz from controlling successfully.
Luiz postures up in polski's guard and throws a big left but polski blocks it.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
polski is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Luiz is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
polski is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Luiz trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
polski shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Luiz as he jumps to the side.
polski circles away from the clinch attempt.
polski tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Luiz was well out of range. Poor timing from polski.
Luiz shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and polski counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Luiz!
polski avoids the attempt from Luiz to control.
polski wants to control the pace but Luiz is squirming around nicely.
polski wants to finish this one by submission but Luiz is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from polski.
polski is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Luiz is surviving well by controlling polski's body position as best he can.
polski looking to finish Luiz with some ground and pound. This is bad for Luiz!

Luiz tries to hold on but polski postures up.
polski working away from the top, dropping strikes.
polski is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Luiz is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Luiz flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. polski anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Luiz and secures both hooks! This could be bad! polski slips an arm under Luiz chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. polski has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. polski is squeezing on Luiz like an anaconda would it's prey. Luiz fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
