The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Hunstad fails in his attempt to clinch.
Hunstad wants to clinch.
Gracie misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
A bone on bone clash there as Hunstad blocks the leg kick.
Hunstad fails with an attempt to clinch.
Hunstad slips a jab and a cross from Gracie.
Gracie throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Hunstad tries to clinch there but Gracie circles away.

Gracie throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Hunstad throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Gracie was covering up waiting for the punch and Hunstad finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Gracie seems keen to control Hunstad's posture.
Hunstad loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Hunstad postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Gracie is trying to control the position but Hunstad postures up.
Hunstad throws a big right hand that misses.

Hunstad drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Gracie dives on top into guard.

Hunstad has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Gracie can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Gracie wants to pass the guard but Hunstad is keeping the position.

Hunstad looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Gracie lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Hunstad circles away quickly and effectively.
Gracie tries to land a leg kick but Hunstad saw it coming and moves away.

Gracie throws a series of punches but Hunstad avoids them all with ease.
Gracie circles away from the clinch attempt.
A combination from Gracie does no damage.
Gracie throws a right hand that Hunstad ducks under and follows up with a left that Hunstad also avoids with ease.
Hunstad moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Gracie throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.

Hunstad moves in looking to clinch but Gracie pushes him off.
Hunstad wants to clinch up but Gracie keeps it at a distance.
Hunstad showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Gracie.
Gracie fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Hunstad tries to close the distance and clinch up but Gracie swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Gracie cracks a nice hook into Hunstad's ribs.
Gracie tests Hunstad's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Hunstad tries to clinch but Gracie is having none of it.
Hunstad takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.

Hunstad shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Gracie's guard.
Hunstad working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Gracie's head.

Gracie working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Hunstad doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Hunstad manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Hunstad stands up over Gracie, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Hunstad is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.

Hunstad is in close to Gracie's body, working some short punches and elbows.

Hunstad throws a sloppy strike and Gracie has hooked up an armbar on the loose arm! He's turned and extended fully! Hunstad is forced to tap! Great BJJ from Gracie!
