Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Thomas Stoner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rodrigo Caneiro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stoner kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Battle Hymn. The key to victory for Thomas Stoner has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Caneiro throws out a loose jab but Stoner uses good head movement to avoid it.

and Stoner counters with a crisp one two that drops Caneiro! Stoner thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Caneiro to his feet! Caneiro is in big trouble!

Caneiro drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Caneiro jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
