Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between John Haskey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mitch Webster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Haskey comes to the cage accompanied by Ive got the Power. John Haskey had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 156.8lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Webster tries to clinch but Haskey is having none of it.
Haskey closes the distance and clinches up with Webster, looking for a takedown. Haskey pushes Webster against the cage but Webster circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Webster closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Webster pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Webster moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Webster scores with a crisp jab that stopped Haskey in his tracks.
Haskey avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Haskey shoots for a double leg takedown but Webster sprawls well. He's pushed Haskey's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
A decent looking cross lands there for Webster.
Webster tries to clinch but Haskey moves out of range.
Webster lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Haskey shoots in looking for a takedown. Webster tries to sprawl out of it but Haskey keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Webster manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for John Haskey. That's going to take a lot out of him.
No joy there for Webster, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Webster cracks a nice hook into Haskey's ribs.
Haskey takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Mitch Webster is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Webster lands a left and a right that send Haskey crashing to the mat, dazed. Webster thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Oh Haskey is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Webster lands with a short head shot on the inside.

Haskey seems to have got his legs back now.
Webster lands with a big left! Haskey is wobbled badly! Webster comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Haskey to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.
