Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Hacky Sack (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dion Phaneuf (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sack's entrance music is Sweet home alabama. A fine choice. Hacky Sack could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Dion Phaneuf's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Hacky Sack!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dion Phaneuf!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Alec Ball and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sack gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Sack wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Phaneuf has him pressed against the cage.
Sack tries to break the clinch but Phaneuf is controlling the position.

Sack escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Sack scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Phaneuf closes the distance and clinches up with Sack, looking for a takedown. Phaneuf pushes Sack against the cage but Sack circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Phaneuf closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Sack explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!
Phaneuf fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Phaneuf shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Sack sprawls well. Sack wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Phaneuf gets slowly back to his feet.
Hacky Sack seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sack lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Phaneuf circles away quickly and effectively.
