Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rhyno Thompson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carlos Tevez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Rhyno Thompson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Carlos Tevez!
The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Skip Squint and Summer Carpenter.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tevez closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Tevez lands in his opponent's guard.
Tevez stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Thompson swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Tevez prevents Thompson from getting back to his feet.
Tevez wants to control from the top but Thompson keeps moving.
Tevez pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Thompson is keeping the position for now.
Thompson wants to stand and escape but Tevez is having none of it.
Thompson will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Thompson looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
Thompson is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Tevez dives into side control.
Tevez in side control, throwing shots but Thompson defends.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Tevez takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Thompson lands a nice hook to Tevez's body. Tevez takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Thompson throws a sloppy head kick and Tevez moves out of range easily.
Thompson feints and then cracks Tevez's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Tevez down.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A solid leg kick lands there for Thompson.
Tevez looks gassed!
Tevez shoots in but Thompson avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Thompson scoring well with a low kick there.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Thompson's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Thompson duly obliges.

Tevez is rocked!
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Tevez has eaten all the pies!
Thompson digs a good hook to Tevez's body.
Tevez is still on wobbly legs! Can Thompson finish him?
Some wild striking there from Thompson.
Tevez shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Thompson as he avoids it easily.
Tevez seems to have recovered his senses.
Thompson lands a big head kick that sends Tevez to the canvas! Thompson follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
