The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Castellaneta fails with an attempt to clinch.
Eastman misses with a two punch combination.
No joy there for Eastman, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Castellaneta tries to clinch but Eastman moves out of range.
Castellaneta throws a leg kick but Eastman sees it coming and moves out of range.

Castellaneta avoids a punch combination nicely.
Eastman scores with a one two! Castellaneta had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

It looks like Daniel Castellaneta has been cut.
Castellaneta dodges the punch combination from Eastman.
Eastman uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Eastman throws a shot to the body.
Castellaneta shoots in looking for a takedown. Eastman tries to sprawl out of it but Castellaneta keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Eastman manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Eastman is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Castellaneta doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Eastman.

Eastman is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Castellaneta is just riding it out for now. Eastman eventually gives up the hold.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Castellaneta. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Eastman lands a left and a right that send Castellaneta crashing to the mat, dazed. Eastman thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Castellaneta has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Eastman is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Castellaneta.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

so Castellaneta counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Eastman changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Castellaneta looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Eastman wants to control but Castellaneta is keeping him busy.

Eastman has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
