Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mike Regis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Joe Rush!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Daniel Blasius and Wagner Zegers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rush connects with a looping right hand.


It looks like Mike Regis has been cut.
Rush needs to keep his hands up - Regis had a free shot at his head there.

Regis drops Rush with a left right combo! Regis follows him down to the ground into side control.
Rush is looking for a sweep.
Regis happy to just control the position for now.
Rush is trying to improve his position.
Rush seems a little lost for a moment, as Regis dominates the positioning.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Rush stops Regis from passing to mount.
Regis wants to control but Rush is keeping him busy.
Rush sneaks back into half guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Regis not doing much here.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Rush is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Regis knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Rush on the ground.
Regis is trying to control the action in half guard but Rush is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Rush pushes Regis off looking to stand but Regis dives back in and keeps control.
Regis sitting and controlling from the half guard.
Regis is trying to control. Rush wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Regis content to control rather than advance.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Mike Regis just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.
Regis throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
A left and a right from Rush both land. Nice combination.
Some wild striking there from Rush.
Regis fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Rush manages to avoid it.
Regis tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Rush was well out of range. Poor timing from Regis.
Regis ducks under a wild hook from Rush.
Regis displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Rush throws out the jab.
Rush misses with a looping left.
Rush throws a jab but it's blocked by Regis.
Regis ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Rush moves away.
Rush connects with a jab.
Rush throws a right and a left that both miss.
A jab from Rush misses.
Regis walks into a straight right hand from Rush.
Regis drops Rush with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Rush! Regis dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:04 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (strikes). Mike Regis!
