Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Bob Bellow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Garrett Bisley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bisley is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Johnny Cash - God's Gonna Cut You Down. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Bob Bellow!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Garrett Bisley!
The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Paulsen Ambrosius and Saam Ante.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bisley pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Bellow scores with a shot to the body.
Bellow really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Bellow throws a right and a left that Bisley avoids nicely.
Bellow lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Bisley circles away quickly and effectively.
Bisley throws a front kick aimed at Bellow's knee but Bellow avoids it well.
Bellow swings for the body but Bisley moves out of range.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Bellow checks a leg kick.
Bisley shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Bellow lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Bisley circles away quickly and effectively.
Bisley avoids the body shot from Bellow.
Bellow lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Bellow lands with a right hand.
Bisley thows a left - swing and a miss!
Bisley misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Bisley shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Bellow as he jumps to the side.
Bellow avoids a kick to the body.

Bellow lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Bellow throws a right and a left that both miss.
Bisley has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Bellow finds it's way round the side to connect with Bisley's head.
Bellow lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Bisley circles away quickly and effectively.
Bellow fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Bellow throws a series of punches but Bisley avoids them all with ease.
Bellow misses with a wild combination.
Bellow swings for the body but Bisley moves out of range.
Bisley goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Bellow scores with a body shot.
Bellow misses with a few strikes there.
Bisley takes a shot right to the bread basket.
The crowd cheers as Bellow lands an impressive looking overhand right. Bisley doesn't seem phased though.
Bisley shoots for a takedown but Bellow saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Bellow is looking to wear down Bisley with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

Bellow lands a really nice looking cross but Bisley seems unphased.

Bisley looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Bellow!
Bisley is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Bellow wants to control but Bisley is having none of it.
Bisley scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Bellow?
Bellow on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Bellow tries to get out of the position.

Bellow bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Bellow is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Bisley is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Bellow is controlling him.
Bisley keeping moving, preventing Bellow from controlling successfully.
Bellow is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Bisley is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Bellow fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Bisley scores a takedown into full mount!
Bellow gets back to half guard.
Well, if Bisley is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Bisley winds up and cracks Bellow with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bellow is refusing to be controlled, as Bisley sits in half guard.
Bisley really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bellow. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Bellow avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Bisley.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bob Bellow dominated that round.
That's time! Bellow's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Bellow misses with a double jab.
Bellow fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Bisley has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Bisley takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Bisley swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Bellow counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Bellow lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Bisley backs up against the cage.
Bellow moves into range and connects with a jab.
Bisley tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Bellow was well out of range. Poor timing from Bisley.

Bisley shoots in but no luck this time.

and Bisley takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Bellow throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
A looping hook to the body misses from Bellow. Bisley does a little dance to reset his feet.
Bisley throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Bisley looks to land a combination but Bellow avoids it well.

Bisley takes one on the chin but seems OK.

Bellow looks to land a combination. Bisley sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Bellow lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Bellow.

Bisley tries to score with a low kick but Bellow moves his leg out of the way.

Bisley gets the takedown into side control.
Bisley is breathing heavily.
Bellow manages to get back to half guard.
Bisley thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Bellow's head.
Bisley seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Bellow does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Bisley controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Bellow is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Bellow pulls Bisley in close to prevent any damage.
Bisley lands a couple of digs.
Bellow tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Bellow has his foot on Bisley's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Bisley works his way back into a safe position though.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Bellow is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Bisley is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Bellow is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Bisley stands and throws Bellow's legs to the side, diving into side control.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

and Bellow counters with a stiff right hand.

and Bellow counters with a three punch combo that has Bisley backing up. Bisley nods at Bellow to acknowledge the strikes.
Bisley takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Bisley takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

and Bellow counters with a one-two to the body.
Bellow thuds a left hand into Bisley's body.

Bisley has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye.
Bellow slaps away a takedown attempt from Bisley, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Bellow moves out of range as Bisley throws a body kick.

Bisley shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Bellow napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Bisley wants to take a breather but Bellow manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Bisley.

Bellow had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Bisley defends it easily.
Bellow keeping moving, preventing Bisley from controlling successfully.
Bisley slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Bellow is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Bob Bellow has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Garrett Bisley.

Bob Bellow is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Bisley throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Garrett Bisley has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Bisley throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Nice shot lands for Bellow.
Bellow scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Bisley shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Bellow makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Bellow bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Bisley's head backwards.

And that's the end of the fight!
Bob Bellow showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Bellow, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
