Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Blaze (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyler Durden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tyler Durden is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Johnny Blaze!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tyler Durden!
The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Joseph Jones and Reed Andrews.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blaze throws a nice looking combination but Durden bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Durden tries to clinch up but Blaze circles away and keeps his distance.
Blaze stuffs the takedown attempt from Durden. Durden gets slowly back to his feet.
Blaze rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Durden moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Durden.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Durden tries to close the distance and clinch up but Blaze swats him away and circles back towards the center.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Johnny Blaze has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tyler Durden.
Durden slips a jab and a cross from Blaze.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Durden is defended easily by Blaze.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Durden looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Blaze is fending him off so far but Durden persists. Nope, Blaze circles away and we're back to standing.
Durden tries to land a leg kick but Blaze saw it coming and moves away.
Durden will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

and Durden counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

Durden is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Blaze gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Durden is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Blaze pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Blaze is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Blaze is looking to break free of the clinch but Durden has double underhooks.

Durden keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Blaze's efforts to push away.

That's time! Blaze's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Danga de danga de dang - Durden scores with a four punch combination!
A combination from Durden does no damage.
Durden throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Blaze's waist but Blaze gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Durden off to one side.
Durden misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Blaze wants to break free but Durden has control.

A bit of stalling here from Durden.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Blaze is trying to break the clinch but Durden is controlling him.
Blaze misses with a punch to the body.

Durden jumps guard and drags Blaze to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Blaze wants to stand but Durden has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Blaze stopping the sweep attempt from Durden.
Blaze prevents Durden from getting back to his feet.

Blaze passes into half guard.
Durden is trying to stand.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Blaze is working for a kimura from half guard. He's really concentrating on the hold and it's allowed Durden to slip a leg under and get back to full guard.

Durden is pulling down on Blaze's head. It's preventing any offense from Blaze, at least for the moment.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Tyler Durden showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!

Durden looks to land a body kick but Blaze moved away.

Blaze throws a left and a right that both miss

and Durden counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Blaze preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Durden would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Blaze can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Durden controls the pace.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Blaze keeping full guard, as Durden tries to pass.
Durden won't allow Blaze to sweep him here.

Durden content to stall in guard here.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Durden won't allow Blaze to get back to his feet.

Durden slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

And that's the end of the fight!
Tyler Durden comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Durden has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
