Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Diego Lezema (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roger Motta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lezema's entrance music is Weird Al Yankovic - Fat song. A fine choice. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Roger Motta was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

With a record of 9 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Roger Motta!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Skip Squint and Donatello Bradman.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lezema chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Lezema throws a low kick but it's checked well by Motta.
Motta keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
A telegraphed right hand from Motta misses the target.
Motta throws the left hand but Lezema avoids the punch easily.
Lezema throws a nice inside leg kick.
Motta throws a right and a left that both miss.
Motta with a hook.
Lezema does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Lezema moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Motta moves out of range as Lezema throws a body kick.
Motta steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Lezema. That one must have hurt.
Motta checks the leg kick.

Lezema drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Lezema got a little sloppy there for a moment and Motta has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Lezema has managed to get both his arms back between Motta's legs - danger averted.
Lezema wants to pass the guard but Motta is keeping the position.
Lezema throwing strikes from guard but Motta blocks nicely.

Motta is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Lezema is aware though and is defending well.

Motta working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Lezema doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Motta is tightening it up a little... Lezema has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Lezema reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Lezema taps out! nice BJJ there by Motta!
