Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Tony Bova (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bert Compton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bova comes to the cage accompanied by I came to bring the pain!. Bert Compton will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Compton fails with an attempt to clinch.
Compton throws a right and a left that both miss.
Compton misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Bova.
Compton scores with a punch to the head.

It looks like Tony Bova has been cut.
Compton fails to land with a series of punches.
Compton misses with an uppercut. Bova saw that one coming.
Bova keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Bova tries to keep at a distance but Compton has taken the fight into the clinch.
Bova changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Compton fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Compton swings for the body but Bova moves out of range.

Compton has Bova up against the cage in a clinch.

Bova is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Bova has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Compton avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Bova is working for takedown but Compton is calmly controlling the position for now.
Compton wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Bova has him pressed against the cage.
Compton prevents the takedown attempt.

Compton manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Bova accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Compton is looking to stand up but Bova isn't so interested in that idea.
Compton utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Compton really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bova. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Compton is looking to stand up but Bova isn't so interested in that idea.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Compton throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Bova's waist but Bova gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Compton off to one side.
Bova takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Compton connects with a crisp jab.
Bova avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Compton throws a right and a left that both miss.
Bova keeps the fight on the outside.
Compton fails to land the takedown.
Compton connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Bova momentarily.
Bova swats away the attempt to clinch by Compton.

Compton bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

Compton throws a hook to the side of Bova's head but Bova sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Oh Bova is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Compton is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Compton connects with a stiff jab that staggers Bova - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!
